Chart options
Every chart in GrowPanel has a ⋯ menu in its top-right corner with the options for how the chart is drawn. GrowPanel remembers your choices for each chart in your browser, so a report opens the way you left it.
The menu only offers what makes sense for the chart in front of you. An option that doesn't fit the data is greyed out, with a short note on why, or left out.

Lines, Stacked or 100%
When you group a report – by plan, market, currency, billing frequency or anything else – a chart whose groups add up to a total (MRR, ARR, subscribers) can be shown three ways:
- Lines – one line per group. Best for comparing how the groups move.
- Stacked – the groups as layers on top of each other, so the top edge is the total and each layer is that group's part of it. Best for seeing what the total is made of.
- 100% – each group's share of the total in each period, so the chart always fills to 100%. Best for seeing the mix change: whether North America is a growing part of your MRR, for example, whatever happens to the total.
The tooltip follows the view: amounts and a total in Stacked, shares in 100%.

A chart whose groups don't add up, like ARPA by market, has lines only, because stacking averages would mean nothing.
Zero Y-axis
By default the Y-axis starts close to your lowest value, which makes small changes easy to see. Turn on Zero Y-axis to start it at zero instead, which shows every change in proportion to the whole.
The switch is greyed out when the chart has values at or below zero (the MRR movements chart, with churn below the line) and in the Stacked and 100% views, which always start at zero.
Show values
Show values writes the numbers on the chart: each line's latest value, each layer's amount at the end, or the total of each bar, above and below zero for movements. Handy for screenshots and board slides.

Colours
Each group keeps its colour wherever it appears: the same plan, market or currency has the same colour in every chart, legend and table, in light and dark mode. Markets, the common currencies, billing frequencies and payment methods each have a fixed colour. Other groups, like your plan names, keep a colour of their own too; only when two groups on the same chart would look alike does one of them get another one.
Groups with an order, like the start years in the layer cake, run through a range of colours from the oldest to the newest.
When there's little or nothing to show
- One period. When the date range holds a single period at the chosen interval – this month so far, by month – the chart shows that point and its value, with a hint to widen the dates or pick a shorter interval.
- Nothing to show. When the filters match no customers, or nothing happened in the range, the chart says so instead of drawing flat lines.
Frequently asked questions
Why can't I pick Stacked?
Stacked and 100% appear once the report is grouped (the grouping button next to Filter), and only on charts whose groups add up to a total.
Do my choices change the charts for my team?
No. They're kept in your browser, for each chart, so everyone on the account sees the charts their own way.
