May 2026

Highlight May 16

Customize your dashboard

Build a dashboard that matches the way you think. Click the Customize gear in the top-right, then drop in any chart, KPI, MRR breakdown, latest-activity feed, or text block. Drag widgets to reorder, resize from 25% to full width, set per-widget date ranges, group bys, comparisons, and segment filters, and pin tall narrow widgets to an optional side panel. Layouts save per user. Learn more.

Highlight May 13

Hosted MCP server with one-click OAuth

Connect Claude.ai, ChatGPT, and other AI clients to GrowPanel without juggling API keys or local installs. Paste https://mcp.growpanel.io into your client's custom connector, log in, click Allow — done. Built on OAuth 2.1 with Dynamic Client Registration, scoped per AI client and per GrowPanel account. Manage and revoke connections from Settings → Integrations. Learn more.

Highlight May 11

HubSpot integration

Two-way sync between GrowPanel and HubSpot. Push MRR, ARR, status, plan, plan group, and lifecycle dates onto HubSpot companies or contacts. Pull HubSpot properties (industry, employee count, owner — any property) back into GrowPanel as filterable custom variables. Configure match strategy (email / domain / customer ID), choose whether to create missing records, and run bulk syncs for thousands of customers in the background — with progress bar and completion email. Learn more.

New May 11

Customer Status filter

Filter and group any report by customer status — lead, trialing, active, past due, or canceled. Useful for isolating the active-paying base when looking at MRR trends, or for spotting how trial behavior differs from paying customers.

New May 11

Has Discount filter

Filter customers by whether they have an active discount applied. Combined with the MRR breakdown, makes it easy to quantify how much your discount programs are worth — and whether discounted customers retain better than non-discounted ones.

April 2026

Highlight April 29

Trailing 12-month churn & retention

Churn and retention reports now have a trailing-window selector — switch between trailing 1-month and trailing 12-month views directly in the chart. The 12-month (TTM) view is what investors and SaaS benchmarks actually reference. The breakdown table makes the cohort explicit (Original / Retained / Churned), so it's always clear which cohort the percentage refers to.

Highlight April 29

New AI assistant

A much more capable AI assistant that runs multi-step tool loops — it can query your data, build reports on the fly, and answer follow-up questions in context, rather than just returning a single response. Open it from the sidebar and ask anything about your subscription business.

New April 29

MRR per customer per month export

New export under Settings → Exports. Download a CSV with each customer's MRR for every month in your selected range — useful for cohort analysis in your own tools or sharing with finance.

Improved April 27

Slack & Teams integration

Notifications to Slack and Microsoft Teams now route reliably through your saved webhook URLs. Configure alerts under Settings → Notifications and route them to the right channel.

Highlight April 19

Saved filter segments

Save combinations of filters as named segments — then use them as a filter on any report or as a breakdown dimension. Segments combine multiple filter dimensions with AND-logic and persist across sessions, so you can reuse the same view of "Enterprise EU customers" or "PLG signups from H2" everywhere.

New April 13

US state filter

Filter and break down reports by US state. Combined with the existing country filter, this gives you sub-national detail for North-America-heavy businesses.

Improved April 13

Customer list improvements

Total cost and due dates now appear inline on customer detail invoices. The list itself has been polished for faster scanning and better mobile fit.

Improved April 13

Inline explanations on rate cells

Failure rate, recovery rate, and percent-change cells now show how each number was calculated when you hover them — no more digging through docs to figure out which numerator and denominator are in play.

Improved April 13

Coupons & negative invoices

Coupon codes are tracked properly on customer detail and negative invoices (refunds, credits) now appear in the customer invoice list, giving you a complete view of billing activity.

Improved April 6

Split-color chart gradients

Charts that cross a threshold (e.g., zero on net MRR churn) now use a two-gradient split — one color above, one below — making the visual story easier to read at a glance.

March 2026

Improved March 29

Custom variable auto-refresh

Reports now refresh automatically when you edit a custom variable — no more manual reload to see the change reflected. Custom variable keys also support spaces.

Improved March 29

Refunds on customer invoice list

The customer detail page now shows refunds inline with invoices, so you can spot reversed charges without leaving the page.

Improved March 19

Timezone tooltips

Timestamps now show a tooltip explaining which timezone they're rendered in. Several timezone-related quirks in the movement table are also fixed.

Improved March 17

Tax, discount & link on invoice lines

Customer detail invoices now break down tax and discount per line, link to the source invoice in your billing platform, and have hover tooltips for full context.

Improved March 17

Billing edge case fixes

Several billing edge cases fixed — the "billed later" false positive that double-counted MRR on certain Stripe plan changes, the "today cancellation" bug, tiered group proration, and one-time discount handling.

Improved March 16

Mobile polish

Better scrollbars, mobile-friendly tooltips, and integration improvements across the app.

Improved March 3

More reliable Stripe imports

Stripe imports now load all charges (previously capped at 10 per request) and use better rate limiting. Tiered plan groups and future-churn notifications are also fixed.

February 2026

Improved February 26

Cohort polish

Better cohort colors, vertical table shadows, and improved date labels for clearer trend reading.

New February 23

Subtract one-time discounts from MRR

New billing setting to control whether one-time coupons are subtracted from MRR. Match your billing platform's behavior — for example, if Stripe is set to exclude one-time discounts from MRR, you can now do the same in GrowPanel.

Highlight February 19

GrowPanel CLI

New command-line interface for GrowPanel. Pull reports, manage customers, export data, and automate workflows directly from your terminal. Install via npm install -g growpanel.

New February 19

The GrowPanel MCP server now supports all API endpoints — reports, customers, plans, settings, webhooks, billing, and more. Use it with Claude, Cursor, or any MCP-compatible AI assistant.

New February 19

Customer invoice list

The customer detail page now shows a full list of invoices, making it easy to review billing history and identify issues without leaving GrowPanel.

Highlight February 17

Adjusted churn metrics

Churn and retention reports now show adjusted churn — separating customers who joined and churned in the same period, and those who churned and reactivated. Click any cell to drill down into the detail table and see exactly which customers are included.

New February 15

Pattern-based plan groups

Create plan groups automatically using patterns like "starts with", "contains", or "ends with". New plans matching your pattern are automatically added to the group — no manual maintenance needed.

Stuck data source alerts
