Growth Goal
Set a monthly growth goal and GrowPanel shows how this month's net MRR growth is tracking against it — right on your This month's growth widget and chart.
Setting a goal
Go to Settings → Goal and choose a goal type:
- No goal — the default. Nothing extra is drawn and the growth chart looks exactly as before.
- Fixed amount per month — a target amount of net new MRR for the month, in your reporting currency (for example $5,000).
- Percentage growth per month — a target expressed as a percentage of your MRR at the start of the month (for example 10%). GrowPanel works out the amount for you each month, so the target scales as you grow.
Enter the value and click Save. Choose No goal at any time to turn it off.
How it appears
When a goal is set, the This month's growth widget (and the MRR growth report) add:
- A dashed target line — a "pace" line running from the start of the month up to your goal at month-end. If your growth line is above it you're ahead of pace; below it, you're behind.
- A marker at the goal, where the line ends.
- Progress — hover the chart to see the goal amount, and on the dashboard widget how far along you are ("64% · $1,800 to go", or "achieved 🎉"). When a goal is set, the widget's change figure shows what's left to reach it.
The goal applies to the current calendar month and only affects the growth visualisations — no other reports change.
Notes
- A percentage goal is measured against your total MRR on the first of the month, so the target updates automatically as your MRR changes from month to month.
- Goals are set per account and are visible to everyone on the team.
