What's on your open page

An open page has three parts: the headline with your MRR and its chart, a row of metric cards, and up to two charts at the bottom. You choose the cards and charts in Settings › Open page. Every number is calculated the same way as in your GrowPanel reports.

The headline

The top of the page is always there:

  • MRR today, in large type.
  • The growth pill: how much MRR grew in the last finished month, for example "7.0% in September".
  • ARR, which is MRR × 12. Tick Committed ARR under Headline to show it next to ARR: ARR plus the changes that are already scheduled, like signed upgrades, cancellations and expiring discounts.
  • The MRR chart for the period you choose under History, with how many times MRR has grown since the start of the chart (for example "2.0× since October 2024") and a one-line summary with the average monthly growth.

The chart ends today. The month in progress is drawn a little shorter and ends in a dot, so visitors can tell this month isn't over yet. Visitors can hover the chart to see each month's MRR.

Hovering the MRR chart shows the MRR for December 2025

Cards

Each card shows one number, the change since the month before, and a small chart of the same period as the MRR chart. Visitors can hover the small charts too.

Eight cards: customers, ARPA, MRR growth, quick ratio, customer churn, net MRR churn, NRR and GRR

You pick them under Cards in the settings, in three groups: customers, growth, and churn and retention. The two charts at the bottom are under Charts.

The Headline, Cards and Charts settings

What each card shows:

CardWhat it shows
CustomersPaying customers today: everyone with an active subscription above zero.
ARPAAverage revenue per account: MRR divided by paying customers.
ASPAverage sales price: new MRR divided by new customers, for the last finished month.
LTVCustomer lifetime value: ARPA divided by the monthly customer churn rate.
MRR growthHow much MRR grew in the last finished month, with the average monthly growth over the chart's period.
Quick ratioNew and expansion MRR divided by churned and contracted MRR. Above 1, MRR grows faster than it shrinks.
Customer churnCustomers who cancelled in the last finished month, as a share of the customers at its start.
Gross MRR churnMRR lost to cancellations and downgrades, as a share of the MRR at the start of the month.
Net MRR churnGross MRR churn minus expansion and reactivation. Below zero, your existing customers grew MRR overall.
NRRNet revenue retention: the MRR from last month's customers as a share of what they paid then. Expansion, contraction and churn count; new customers don't.
GRRGross revenue retention: like NRR, but without expansion, so it never goes above 100%.

Changes are for the last finished month, so a card never compares half a month with a whole one. A change in green is good news: for churn, that's when it went down.

NRR and GRR are the monthly figures from your retention reports, averaged over the last three finished months, so one unusual month doesn't swing the number. The card says so under the number.

Every card has a small info icon. Hovering it explains the number in plain words, including which months it covers, so a visitor never has to guess what a metric means.

The info icon on the NRR card explains how NRR is calculated and which months it covers

The cards are laid out in rows of up to four, as even as they can be: five cards are a row of three and a row of two, eight cards are two rows of four.

Charts

The MRR movements chart and the customers chart

  • MRR movements ("Where the growth came from"): MRR added by new customers, expansion and reactivation above the line, and lost to contraction and churn below it, for each finished month. Hovering a month shows each movement and the net change.
  • Customers: paying customers at the end of each month, up to today.

History

History sets how far back the charts go: 6 months, 1 year or 2 years.

Choose None to show only today's numbers: the headline and the cards, with no charts and no history at all. The page then says which day the numbers are from.

An open page without history: the headline and eight cards, no charts

Amounts

Amounts sets how exact the numbers are.

Exact: the amounts as they are in your reports.

Rounded: amounts and customer counts are rounded to two significant digits, for example $550K instead of $547,951 and 1.7K customers instead of 1,727. Rates and ratios stay as they are. Tooltips are rounded too, so hovering never reveals more than the page shows.

The same page with rounded amounts: $550K MRR, $6.6M ARR and 1.7K customers

Growth only: no amounts or counts at all. The headline shows how many times MRR has grown (for example 2.0× since October 2024), the customers card shows customer growth in percent, and the charts show growth instead of amounts. Cards that can only be amounts, like ARPA, ASP and LTV, are left out, and so is the customers chart.

A growth-only page: 2.0× MRR growth, customers up 51%, and rates and ratios without any amounts

Growth only suits founders who want to show momentum without revealing revenue. The social card and the badges follow the same setting.

Where the numbers come from

Every number on the page is calculated from your billing data by GrowPanel, the same way as in your reports, in your base currency. MRR counts what all active subscriptions bring in each month, after discounts, with annual and other plans counted as their monthly share. One-time charges aren't included.

The page is rebuilt every day. Its footer says when it was last updated, and that the numbers are calculated by GrowPanel from your billing data, so visitors know they weren't typed in.
